My Approach to Our Work Together

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you recognize and challenge patterns of negative thinking that fuel anxiety, overwhelm, and low self-esteem. Together, we’ll identify the thoughts and beliefs that keep you stuck, explore how they affect your emotions and behaviors, and develop new ways of thinking that are more balanced and supportive. You’ll learn skills to manage worry, cope with stressful situations, and feel more empowered in your daily life. These tools are not only effective for reducing anxiety but can also help you navigate life transitions with greater confidence.

  • Attachment-Based Therapy
Your earliest relationships set the foundation for how you connect with others and see yourself. Attachment-Based Therapy helps you understand and heal patterns formed in childhood or past relationships that may be keeping you stuck in cycles of insecurity, fear of abandonment, or emotional withdrawal. In our sessions, we’ll explore your attachment style and experiences with caregivers, so you can gain insight into your needs and fears in relationships. By processing these wounds in a safe, supportive space, you can develop a more secure sense of self, feel worthy of love, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.

  • Mindfulness Practices
Mindfulness is more than meditation — it’s a way of relating to your thoughts, emotions, and body with curiosity and compassion. Mindfulness practices help you tune into the present moment, reduce rumination about the past or worry about the future, and respond more calmly to life’s challenges. Together, we’ll practice mindful breathing, body awareness, and simple exercises you can incorporate into your day-to-day life. By strengthening your ability to stay grounded, you’ll feel more centered, resilient, and able to handle stress with greater ease.

  • Somatic Techniques
Somatic techniques address the ways stress, anxiety, and trauma live in the body, not just the mind. These body-centered practices help you release chronic tension, calm your nervous system, and build a deeper sense of safety and connection within yourself. We’ll use gentle approaches like guided breathwork, grounding exercises, and mindful movement to help you become more aware of physical sensations, complete stress cycles, and regulate intense emotions. This work can be especially transformative if you’ve experienced trauma or feel disconnected from your body, empowering you to heal from the inside out.

Heal from within

Your emotional well-being is deeply connected to your physical and mental health. In our work together, I take a holistic approach to help you understand how stress, sleep, movement, and boundaries shape your mood and relationships.

By supporting you to care for your whole self, I’ll help you build sustainable habits that reduce anxiety, strengthen resilience, and empower you to navigate life transitions with greater balance and confidence. Together, we’ll explore your attachment patterns, develop healthy boundaries, and create more fulfilling connections.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to:

  • Understand Your Stress Responses

We’ll explore how your mind and body react to stress so you can recognize early signs of overwhelm and learn techniques to calm your nervous system.

  • Improve Sleep & Daily Habits

Together, we’ll look at patterns that keep you feeling stuck — like restless nights, exhaustion, or skipping meals — and create realistic routines that support more restorative rest and balanced energy.

  • Use Movement as Healing

You don’t have to run marathons — but gentle movement, stretching, or mindful walks can play a powerful role in releasing tension and reducing anxiety. I’ll help you find what works for you.

  • Explore Attachment & Boundaries

We’ll look at how your attachment patterns influence your relationships and teach you to set healthier boundaries, helping you feel more secure and connected to yourself and others.

  • Build Sustainable Self-Care

Together, we’ll identify self-care practices that truly replenish you — not just quick fixes — so you can navigate life’s transitions with more resilience and confidence.
