About Dr. Quinnett -Las Vegas Marriage & Family Therapist Intern

I’m Dr. Quinnett Swank, a Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern in Las Vegas offering in-person and online counseling across Nevada. I specialize in couples therapy, marriage counseling, women’s counseling, and anxiety treatment.

My passion is helping couples rebuild trust and connection, supporting women navigating life transitions and motherhood, and guiding individuals through anxiety and relationship challenges. With a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Master’s in School Psychology, I bring both academic training and real-world perspective to my work. Over time, I’ve seen that the most powerful changes happen when clients feel safe, supported, and truly understood.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy is a partnership — not something you have to face alone. My style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate, while also helping you build practical tools you can use outside of sessions.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for strengthening relationships, deepening intimacy, and rebuilding trust.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for managing anxiety, stress, and self-doubt.

  • Mindfulness and somatic techniques for grounding, awareness, and emotional balance.

Each session is tailored to meet your needs. Whether you’re seeking marriage counseling in Las Vegas, online couples therapy in Nevada, or anxiety treatment and support through relationship challenges, I provide a safe, compassionate space for healing and growth.

Who I Work With

  • Couples wanting to improve communication, rebuild trust after conflict or infidelity, and strengthen their emotional connection.

  • Women & moms navigating identity shifts, relationship stress, motherhood, and life transitions.

  • Individuals with anxiety who want to feel calmer, more confident, and able to set healthy boundaries.

  • First responders, military service members, and veterans carrying unique stressors from service and duty.

Why This Work Matters to Me

As a wife, mom, and therapist, I understand how hard it can feel to balance relationships, work, and personal well-being. That’s why I’m passionate about helping people move from surviving to thriving — whether that means healing your relationship, reducing anxiety, or rediscovering yourself.
