Anxiety Therapy in Las Vegas, NV

Cup of tea beside a candle and a sign reading “worry less,” representing anxiety therapy and stress support.

If you’re the one who keeps it together for everyone else, anxiety can be hard to explain—because on the outside you look “fine.” But inside, your mind is constantly working: replaying, analyzing, predicting, and trying to prevent anything from going wrong.

You may be successful, responsible, and high-achieving… and still feel mentally exhausted, tense, or stuck in worry and self-doubt. Therapy can help you calm the noise, understand the pattern underneath it, and build tools that work in real life—so you can feel lighter, steadier, and more like yourself again.

Trade self-judgment for self-trust one next step at a time.

Common signs of high-functioning anxiety and rumination

Anxiety isn’t always panic attacks. Often it looks like:

  • Overthinking conversations and second-guessing your choices

  • Replaying what happened and imagining what could happen next

  • Feeling pressure to be “on,” productive, or perfect

  • Difficulty relaxing—even when you have downtime

  • Procrastinating because you want to do it “right”

  • Irritability, mental fatigue, or feeling emotionally maxed out

  • Trouble sleeping because your brain won’t shut off

  • People-pleasing, over-explaining, or fearing you’ll disappoint others

  • Feeling like you should be grateful… but still can’t turn the anxiety off

If your mind feels like it’s running in the background all day, you’re not alone.

What rumination can look like

Rumination is when your brain gets stuck on a loop—trying to solve, prevent, or “figure out” something that doesn’t actually have a clear answer.

It can sound like:

  • “What if I made the wrong decision?”

  • “Why did I say that?”

  • “What if something bad happens?”

  • “I should have handled it differently.”

  • “If I think it through enough, I’ll finally feel better.”

The problem is: the more you try to think your way out of anxiety, the more trapped you can feel in it.

How anxiety therapy can help

Therapy isn’t about eliminating every anxious thought. It’s about changing how anxiety runs your life.

In our work together, you can learn to:

  • Interrupt rumination and stop spiraling

  • Build emotional steadiness even when your brain is loud

  • Reduce perfectionism and the pressure to get everything right

  • Strengthen boundaries without guilt or over-explaining

  • Feel more confident making decisions without constant second-guessing

  • Learn nervous system tools that help you come back to center

  • Create a life that isn’t driven by fear, urgency, or “what if” thinking

What therapy with me is like

I’m honest, direct, and compassionate. I’m less of a “how does that make you feel?” therapist and more of a:

“Let’s slow this down, get to the root, and build tools you can actually use.”

Sessions are active and collaborative. We’ll look at what anxiety is doing for you (even if it’s unhelpful), what triggers it, and how to respond differently—so you feel more in control and less consumed.

My Approach to Anxiety Therapy

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-focused therapy, and somatic strategies to support nervous system regulation.

Instead of fighting anxiety or trying to “think it away,” we’ll work on:

  • Unhooking from anxious thoughts (so they don’t control your day)

  • Making room for emotions without shutting down or over-functioning

  • Building values-based action (so you move toward the life you want)

  • Regulating your nervous system when stress or overwhelm spikes

You don’t need to be fearless to move forward. You need tools, support, and a plan.

When anxiety shows up most in relationships

Sometimes anxiety is loudest in relationships—overanalyzing texts, replaying conflict, fearing rejection, or needing reassurance to feel okay.

If relationship stress is a major trigger, there are two options depending on what you’re looking for:

  • Coming in individually: Work on relationship anxiety, boundaries, and patterns—even if your partner isn’t in therapy.
→ Relationship Anxiety Therapy (Individual Therapy)

  • Coming in together: If anxiety, stress, or past hurt is impacting connection, couples therapy can help you break the cycle and rebuild trust.
