Meet Dr. Quinnett Swank
About Me
Hi, I’m Dr. Quinnett Swank. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Nevada, licensed school psychologist, wellness coach, professor, and author. I'm also a wife to an Air Force Veteran and retired law enforcement officer, and a mom of four. Two school-age kids and two adult bonus daughters. I'm a nature lover, a fitness enthusiast, and most importantly a woman in her 40s navigating this journey right alongside you.
Who I help
I work with adult women and men who look like they're holding it together but inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same cycles. Racing thoughts, overthinking, irritability, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or that constant feeling that something is just off.
I also support couples when anxiety, stress, or past hurt is getting in the way of connection.
Wellness coaching is available 1:1 for individuals looking for support with nutrition, movement, and mindset. Because what's happening in your body is directly connected to what's happening in your mind.
Sessions available in-person in Northwest Las Vegas and virtual across Nevada. Coaching available nationwide.
What we can work on
Clients often come in for support with:
Relationship patterns, boundaries, and emotional safety
Life transitions, loss, and change
Trauma and the way it still shows up today
Self-trust, self-worth, and reducing self-judgment
Nutrition, movement, and building sustainable healthy habits
Hormonal health, energy, and whole person wellness through coaching
What working with me is like
I'm honest, direct, and compassionate. I see my role as a supportive partner in the room with you. We slow things down, get to the root, and build tools you can actually use in real life. At a pace that works for you.
You can expect sessions that are:
active and collaborative
focused on patterns (not just symptoms)
supportive but structured
grounded in practical next steps
When clients are ready to go beyond the therapy room, wellness coaching is the natural next step. Same directness. Same real talk. Just a different kind of work.
My Approach
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and attachment-focused therapy, with somatic strategies to support nervous system regulation.
Instead of trying to get rid of anxiety or “fix” you, we focus on changing how anxiety, thoughts, and relationship patterns show up so you can feel more grounded, rebuild self-trust, and move toward what matters.
In sessions, we’ll work on:
Unhooking from overthinking and taking values-based action
Understanding needs, boundaries, and patterns in relationships
Reducing panic and shutdown and building nervous system resilience
In coaching we take this same whole person lens and apply it to nutrition, movement, and the daily habits that either drain you or support you.
