Life Transitions Therapy in Las Vegas, NV

When life changes, your sense of self can change with it.

Maybe you're navigating a divorce, career shift, loss, parenting transition, or a season when the life you built no longer feels quite like yours. Therapy gives you space to understand what's happening and decide what matters now.

A Different Way to See Change

You can be grateful for parts of your life and still want something to change.

You don't have to minimize the hard parts just because other parts of your life are going well.

When Life Feels Different

Transitions aren't always obvious from the outside.

Some changes arrive suddenly. Others build gradually until you realize the way you've been living no longer fits.

Career changes and work identity

A new role, career uncertainty, job loss, retirement, or burnout can leave you wondering how much of your identity has been tied to what you do.

Divorce, separation, and relationship shifts

Changes in a relationship can affect your confidence, routines, connections, and sense of what comes next, even when the decision feels necessary.

Parenting and family role changes

New parenthood, changing family expectations, adult children, or becoming an empty nester can shift how you see yourself and what you need.

Grief and unexpected loss

Loss may involve a person, a relationship, a role, a dream, or a future you imagined. You can move forward without pretending the loss doesn't matter.

Feeling stuck between old and new

You may know something needs to change but feel unsure what that is, or feel pulled between others' expectations and your own needs.

Relocation, caregiving, and new responsibilities

A move, caregiving role, health-related adjustment, or other major responsibility can alter your routines and leave little room to check in with yourself.

The Work Beneath the Transition

Sometimes the hardest part is figuring out who you are now.

Transitions can bring two seemingly opposite feelings at once: relief and sadness, hope and fear, freedom and guilt. You don't need to choose which feeling is the "right" one.

My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps us notice the thoughts and emotions that show up during uncertainty without letting them make every decision for us.

We can explore the expectations and relationship patterns that have shaped your choices, reconnect with what you value, and practice moving toward a meaningful next step, even if you don't have the full picture yet.

You don't need to walk into the first session with a clear answer to "What do you want?" We can make room to figure that out together.

How Therapy Can Help

From feeling stuck to making room for what comes next.

We work at a pace that makes sense for you. The goal isn't to rush the decision. It's to build clarity and self-trust while life keeps moving.

Understand the change

We talk about what has shifted, which parts feel difficult, and how stress, anxiety, roles, and relationships may be influencing your experience.

Get clear on what matters

We identify values, needs, and patterns that deserve your attention, without expecting you to have certainty about every future decision.

Practice different responses

Together, we develop flexible, practical ways to communicate, set boundaries, respond to anxiety, and take steps toward a life that fits.

Individual and Couples Support

Your next chapter can begin with a conversation.

I work with adult men and women navigating change, and with couples adjusting to new roles, expectations, and relationship dynamics. You don't have to carry the uncertainty alone.

Questions You May Have

Frequently asked questions

A few things to know before scheduling.

Can therapy help if nothing is technically wrong but I still feel stuck?

Yes. Many people begin therapy because a familiar role, relationship, or routine no longer feels like a good fit. You don't need a crisis or a specific diagnosis to explore what has changed and what you want next.

Do you help with divorce, career changes, or becoming an empty nester?

Yes. Life transitions may involve separation or divorce, changes in work or identity, parenting shifts, caregiving, relocation, loss, or retirement. We focus on how the transition is affecting you and your relationships.

What if a transition is also bringing up anxiety or grief?

That is common. Change can bring uncertainty, worry, sadness, relief, and competing emotions. Therapy can help you make space for those experiences while finding ways to respond that fit your values.

Do you offer couples therapy for major life changes?

Yes. Couples therapy can support partners navigating changes in roles, parenting, career demands, relocation, or connection. You can also choose individual therapy when you want space to focus on your own experience.

Where do we meet, and what does therapy cost?

I offer in-person sessions in Northwest Las Vegas and secure virtual therapy when you are physically in Nevada. Individual sessions are $160 and couples sessions are $180, each for 50 minutes. Appointments are typically every other week or monthly.

When You're Ready

You don't need the whole plan to take the first step.

A free 15-minute consultation gives us a chance to talk about what has changed, what you're hoping for, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
